Flavor and Culinary Suggestions
Lotus root and lotus seeds have a mild, nutty flavor, while shiitake mushrooms add aroma to the soup. Suitable for preparing stew at home; not a medicine.
Preparation
Use with 500–600 g pork ribs and 1.25–1.5 L water. Soak the lotus root, lotus seeds, and mushrooms until softened, rinse, then simmer with the pork ribs until fully cooked; season to taste.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Close tightly after opening. Cook thoroughly before eating. Do not use if allergic to any ingredients.
